Premier League Stars Dominate ‘World’s Most Valuable 11’ List With Six Stars Worth over £880m

With the opening of the summer transfer window, permutations as to which players are set to make moves are on again. The big clubs are already up and doing with their business or searching for transfer targets. As you would expect big money signings are always in view, but which players are most valuable and will cost a fortune for your team in this transfer window?

As we all know, the English premier league is the richest and best league in the world, huge thanks to its followership and large sponsorship deals, but what you may not know is that it has the most valuable players in the world.

Current champions Manchester City have signed Norwegian striker Erling Haaland in a £51 million deal, a deal many have termed a huge steal, given his huge value on Transfermarkt and other valuation sites. The former Borussia Dortmund man is valued at £135 million pounds and the fee is expected to rise as he is now playing in the world’s most popular league.

The 21-year-old headlines the most valuable list alongside Paris Saint Germain striker Kylian Mbappe who is top of the pile with a valuation of £144 million. The Frenchman was recently primed for a move to European champions Real Madrid but decided to commit his immediate future to PSG after the intervention of the French President.

Moreover, the Premier League dominates the list with six players. Manchester City trio of Haaland, Diaz and English star Phil Foden are valued at £135 million, £67 million and £81 million respectively. While the likes of West Ham’s Declan Rice, whose manager David Moyes has claimed is worth £150 million, is valued at £72 million by Transfermarkt.

However, the most valuable eleven list is not completely a Premier League affair. Fourteen-time European kings Real Madrid are also represented in the list. Brazilian winger Vini Jr and Thibaut Courtois are worth £90m and £54m respectively.

Italian and German giants Juventus and Bayern Munich make up the final two slots. Dutch defender Matthijs De Ligt and Alphonso Davies solidify the starting eleven with their defensive prowess.
